Your provider will pass the LaseMD handpiece over the treatment area, delivering short bursts of laser energy. The treatment takes 30-45 minutes and is generally well tolerated with topical numbing. The day after your treatment, you may experience mild redness and rough texture as the skin renews.

You may experience redness and a rough, sandpaper-like texture for a few days, followed by light flaking as your skin renews. Small micro-dots called MENDs may appear and gradually slough off between days 3-5. While many people return to their usual routines quickly, we recommend avoiding direct sun, heat, and intense workouts for a few days post-treatment.
Can I get LaseMD while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Out of caution, laser treatments like LaseMD are not performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Your provider can discuss alternative options and help you plan ahead.
