Your blood sample is then placed in a medical-grade centrifuge, which spins the blood at a controlled speed to separate its components. For PRF, a slower spin preserves more white blood cells and a fibrin matrix (healing factors), resulting in a thicker concentrate with a slower, sustained release of growth factors. Because your body undergoes hormonal and vascular changes during this time, we recommend waiting until after pregnancy and nursing to begin treatment. It’s also not recommended for individuals with active skin infections, certain autoimmune conditions, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Most clients experience mild, temporary side effects such as redness, sensitivity, or flaking (similar to a light sunburn) that typically resolve within a few days. Allergic reactions are rare but can include contact dermatitis (rash), itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing. IPL is often used to treat sunspots, age spots, redness, rosacea, and broken capillaries. It’s also popular for generally brightening skin tone and improving clarity across the face, neck, chest, and hands.
IPL works best on lighter skin tones with visible signs of sun damage, redness, or pigmentation, helping reduce freckles, age spots, and rosacea. It may not be suitable for deeper skin tones, due to an increased risk of pigmentation changes after the treatment.
Unlike lasers that use a single, focused wavelength of light, IPL uses broad-spectrum light to target multiple skin concerns at once. It’s generally considered gentler and best suited for surface-level pigment and redness.
You may feel a quick snap or warm pulse with each flash of light. Most clients find the treatment tolerable without numbing, though it can be applied for added comfort if needed.
Downtime is typically minimal. Skin may appear slightly pink or flushed for a few hours, and treated pigmentation may temporarily darken before flaking off over the next 7-10 days. You’ll be advised to avoid direct sun exposure and follow gentle aftercare during this period.

ResurFX is designed to improve skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, enlarged pores, stretch marks, and early laxity on the face, neck, chest, and hands. Because it rebuilds collagen rather than only targeting color, it pairs well with IPL for guests who want to address tone and texture together.
ResurFX uses a non-ablative 1565 nm wavelength that is not absorbed by melanin, which makes it an option for a broad range of skin tones, including deeper complexions, when settings are adjusted appropriately. Your provider will evaluate your skin at your consultation.
Most guests describe a warm, prickling sensation. Topical numbing is applied before treatment and the handpiece has built-in cooling, so the session is generally comfortable. Skin may feel warm, like a mild sunburn, for a few hours afterward.
Expect redness and mild swelling for 1-3 days, followed by a rough, sandpaper-like texture and light flaking as the treated columns of skin renew. Most guests are comfortable in public with mineral makeup after 48 hours. Avoid direct sun, heat, and intense workouts for a few days.

Radiesse is best for restoring structure and definition – jawline, chin, cheeks, and hands – and, in diluted form, for firming crepey or lax skin on the neck, chest, and body. It is not used in the lips or directly under the eyes, and it does not stop muscle movement. For those concerns, explore wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers.
Calcium hydroxylapatite is a mineral compound that occurs naturally in bone. In Radiesse, tiny CaHA microspheres are suspended in a smooth gel that provides immediate lift; as the gel is absorbed, the microspheres act as a scaffold that encourages your skin to produce new collagen and elastin.
Dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid to add volume instantly and can be dissolved if needed. Radiesse also lifts immediately, but its main benefit builds over time as it stimulates collagen, and it tends to last longer. Because Radiesse cannot be dissolved, placement and product choice matter – which is why every treatment begins with a consultation.
