• What can dermal fillers help with – and what can they not?

  Dermal fillers are designed to help restore lost volume, enhancing facial contours, and smoothing deeper lines and folds. They do not stop muscle movement, improve skin texture or tone, or tighten loose skin on their own. • What is hyaluronic acid?

  Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance found in your skin and connective tissue. It plays a key role in maintaining hydration by attracting and holding up to 1,000 times its weight in water. In dermal fillers, a modified, cross-linked form of HA is used to create a gel-like substance that lasts longer in the skin. This stabilized version allows providers to restore volume, smooth lines, and enhance facial contours with results that look natural and hydrated.

• Doesn’t SKINVIVE™ also use hyaluronic acid? What’s the difference?

  Both use hyaluronic acid, but they’re designed for different purposes. Dermal Fillers use a thicker form of HA to restore volume and enhance facial contours. SKINVIVE uses a lighter, microdroplet formulation placed just beneath the surface to attract water, boosting hydration and skin quality without adding volume. Your provider can recommend the right combination based on your goals.

• How does pricing work?

  Dermal fillers are priced per syringe. During your consultation, your provider can recommend the most efficient path to your desired results, tailored to your goals, timeline, and budget. • Are dermal fillers safe?

  Dermal fillers (such as Juvéderm and Restylane products) are FDA-approved and have been used in aesthetic treatments for many years. We exclusively use FDA-approved products administered by highly trained professionals. Our team approaches every treatment with precision and care, prioritizing your safety above all else.

• Are there any side effects to dermal filler treatments?

  Mild bruising or swelling can occur after treatment, particularly in sensitive areas like the lips. If it does, it may take up to 1-2 weeks to fully resolve. • Will my face look overfilled?

  Our philosophy is all about subtle enhancement. We focus on creating natural, balanced results that refine your appearance without looking exaggerated.

• What is the downtime?

  There’s typically minimal downtime with dermal filler treatments. You may experience some swelling, bruising, redness, or tenderness immediately after the appointment, which can last up to 48 hours. In some cases, swelling or bruising may take a bit longer to fully resolve, but does so within 1-2 weeks. • Can I get dermal fillers while pregnant or breastfeeding?

  Dermal fillers are not safe or recommended for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding. We’ll be happy to discuss alternative options with you during your consultation.

• Can I get treated the same day as my complimentary consultation?

  If the pre-treatment care instructions are closely followed, dermal filler treatments can sometimes be performed during your consultation visit.
