Moxi® is a gentle, non-ablative fractional laser treatment designed to rejuvenate skin by targeting early signs of sun damage, pigmentation, and uneven texture. By heating the skin below the surface, Moxi can activate the body’s natural repair response, boosting cell turnover and restoring radiance with minimal downtime.

How It Works

Moxi delivers controlled laser energy to heat water within the cell's dermis without damaging the skin’s surface. This non-ablative approach gently stimulates collagen production and accelerates cell renewal, helping to fade pigmentation, smooth uneven texture, and promote a brighter, more balanced complexion over time.

Our Approach

1

Consultation

Every treatment begins with a personalized consultation to assess your skin condition, goals, and overall skincare regimen. Moxi is ideal for preventing signs of aging, correcting sun damage, or maintaining results between deeper treatments. Your provider will tailor a plan to your skin type and lifestyle. Book your complimentary consultation here.

2

Treatment

Your provider will pass the Moxi handpiece over the treatment area, delivering short bursts of laser energy. The treatment takes 30-45 minutes and is generally well tolerated with topical numbing. The day after your treatment, you may experience mild redness and rough texture as the skin renews.

3

Results

Most clients begin to see visible renewal within 5-7 days. The skin may feel slightly dry or flaky as it exfoliates naturally. Texture becomes smoother, pigmentation fades, and your natural radiance is restored with each session.

4

Maintenance

We typically recommend a series of 3-4 treatments spaced 4-5 weeks apart for initial correction. Ongoing maintenance treatmentscan help keep your skin in its best possible condition and delay visible aging. Your Nuey provider will tailor a schedule that aligns with your skincare routine and goals.

Your Questions, Answered

  • What kind of skin concerns can Moxi help with?

Moxi is designed to treat early signs of aging, sun damage, uneven tone, and rough texture. It’s also a great option for long-term maintenance and prevention, especially if you’re between deeper treatments or just getting started with lasers.

  • Is Moxi suitable for all skin tones?

Moxi is commonly considered safe for a broad range of skin tones, including deeper complexions, due to its gentle, non-ablative technology. Your provider will tailor your settings and treatment plan based on your individual skin type and goals.

  • Does it hurt?

Most clients say the treatment feels like a mild warming or prickling sensation. A topical numbing cream is typically applied to increase comfort, and the treatment is over in about 30-45 minutes.

  • What is the downtime?

You may experience redness and a rough, sandpaper-like texture for a few days, followed by light flaking as your skin renews. Small micro-dots called MENDs may appear and gradually slough off between days 3-5. While many people return to their usual routines quickly, we recommend avoiding direct sun, heat, and intense workouts for a few days post-treatment.

  • Can I get Moxi while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Out of caution, laser treatments like Moxi are not performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Your provider can discuss alternative options and help you plan ahead.

  • How does Moxi compare to other laser treatments?

Moxi is a gentle, non-ablative laser designed for prevention and maintenance, and is safe for all skin tones. Unlike more aggressive resurfacing treatments, it offers visible results with minimal downtime, making it a great option for routine skin renewal.

  • Can it be combined with any other treatments?

Moxi is often paired with BBL HEROic™ (broadband light) to enhance tone, clarity, and collagen production. It can also be combined with treatments like wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, microneedling, or PRP/PRF to further support your skin goals. Your provider can recommend a customized treatment plan to align with your skin goals and calendar.

  • How can I prepare for my treatment and what should I expect after?
